Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has urged Nigerians to take a more active role in promoting the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing the importance of grassroots advocacy across the country.

Speaking at the South West Zonal Walk organised by the “Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN)” Group at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Hamzat said many Nigerians may not yet be fully aware of the administration’s reforms and initiatives.

He encouraged citizens to deliberately share information within their communities, noting that public awareness is crucial to national development. According to him, Nigerians must go beyond their immediate circles to ensure more people understand government policies and efforts.

Hamzat also highlighted the importance of economic stability, describing it as the foundation for national progress. He explained that the President’s policies are focused on ensuring Nigeria remains financially sustainable, warning that any nation without such stability risks collapse.

The Deputy Governor noted that while progress is being made, results may take time, given the country’s long-standing economic challenges. He pointed to improvements in policy stability, investor confidence, and foreign exchange management as signs of progress under the current administration.

He further cited the student loan programme as a key achievement, saying it has enabled millions of Nigerian students to access higher education, thereby investing in the country’s future.

Also speaking, Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Cornelius Ojelabi, called on Nigerians to support the President’s re-election, noting that progress has been recorded across multiple sectors.

In his remarks, Chairman of Conference 57 and Lagos State Coordinator of the RTIFN Group, Sesan Olowa, described President Tinubu’s leadership as transformative, adding that ongoing reforms in the economy, security, and infrastructure are already making an impact despite current challenges.

Similarly, Director General of the RTIFN Group, Ahmed Bala, said the organisation remains committed to promoting accurate information and public understanding of government policies. He noted that the group aims to bridge information gaps, counter misinformation, and encourage constructive civic engagement among Nigerians at home and abroad.
