The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has distributed 20,000 food packs to residents across the state in celebration of the 74th birthday of President Bola Tinubu.
The distribution, which cut across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas, was aimed at supporting vulnerable residents and sharing in the spirit of the President’s birthday.
A symbolic ceremony was held at De Blue Roof, where government officials and beneficiaries gathered for the exercise.
Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Tajudeen Afolabi, represented the state government during the distribution.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely support amid current economic challenges.
