The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the real estate sector by promoting professionalism, transparency and regulatory compliance among practitioners.

The Coordinating Director of the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority, LASRERA, ESV. Temitope Akinbola, stated this during a general meeting of the Estate Rent and Commission Agents Association of Nigeria, ERCAAN, at the Igando-Ikotun LCDA Secretariat Hall.

The meeting, themed “Importance and Benefits of LASRERA License to Real Estate Practitioners in Lagos State,” provided an opportunity for the authority to sensitise practitioners on the importance of obtaining the appropriate LASRERA permit and complying with relevant regulations.

Akinbola said the permit confirms that real estate practitioners are registered and recognised to operate in Lagos State, while also enhancing their professional credibility and giving clients greater confidence in their services.

She added that licensed practitioners could benefit from professional development, stakeholder engagement and networking opportunities organised by LASRERA, enabling them to improve their skills and remain informed about developments in the sector.

The LASRERA coordinating director assured practitioners that the state government would continue to engage stakeholders and provide platforms for dialogue aimed at improving professionalism and service delivery in the real estate sector.

The event ended with the presentation of LASRERA permits to members of ERCAAN.
