The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, through the Lagos State Examinations Board (LSEB), has commenced registration for the second run of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Screening Test into Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.

The exercise is aimed at providing another opportunity for eligible candidates who were unable to participate in the first screening test due to circumstances beyond their control.

Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu, said registration opened on July 14 and will close on August 15, 2026, with a registration fee of ₦10,000 per candidate.

According to him, the second screening exercise is specifically designed for candidates who missed the first test because of clashes with examinations conducted by other examination bodies.

He advised interested candidates to complete their registration through the Board’s online portal within the stipulated period and ensure compliance with all registration guidelines.

The second run of the CBT Screening Test is scheduled to hold from August 21 to August 22, 2026, at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Magodo, Lagos, beginning at 8:00 a.m. daily.

Orunsolu also informed prospective candidates and parents that Vetland Junior Grammar School, Ifako-Ijaiye, and Eva-Adelaja Girls' Junior Secondary School, Bariga, will not be available as school options during the registration process.

He reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and fair screening exercise in line with established standards and best practices.
