Leading financial institution, Fidelity Bank Plc has announced plans to launch the Fidelity Quarterly Business Forum, a strategic engagement platform aimed at promoting the growth and sustainability of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across Nigeria.

The initiative will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and industry experts to discuss emerging business opportunities, economic trends, innovation and sustainable growth strategies.

Speaking on the development, Ugochi Osinigwe said the forum underscores the bank's commitment to supporting small businesses through financial solutions, capacity-building programmes and advisory services.

According to her, the platform will provide opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and business support, helping entrepreneurs navigate the evolving economic environment and improve profitability.

The maiden edition of the Fidelity Quarterly Business Forum is scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt on June 3, 2026.

The event will feature a keynote address on scaling trade and distribution businesses for sustainable growth, to be delivered by Pamela Shodipo, alongside a business and economic outlook presentation by Okechukwu Ugoji.

Participants will also engage in networking sessions designed to foster partnerships and create new business opportunities.

The forum complements other SME-focused initiatives by Fidelity Bank, including the Fidelity SME Hub in Gbagada, Lagos, which provides entrepreneurs with access to mentors, industry experts and business advisory services.

The bank says the initiative is part of its broader strategy to strengthen Nigeria's SME sector and support sustainable economic growth.
