Polaris Bank has received the Private Sector Champion Award at the 2026 Jobberman Partners’ Convening in recognition of its contributions to youth employment, talent development, and workforce empowerment in Nigeria.

The award, presented during the event held at Eko Hotel & Suites, honoured organisations demonstrating strong commitment to advancing youth employability through recruitment initiatives, graduate trainee programmes, executive hiring support, and strategic partnerships.

Organised by Jobberman, the annual convening gathered stakeholders from the private sector and development organisations to discuss solutions to youth unemployment in Nigeria.

Speaking on the recognition, Cynthia Sanyaolu, Head of Talent Management at Polaris Bank, said the award reflects the bank’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians through people-focused initiatives that support long-term economic and social development.

She noted that the bank views youth empowerment and talent development as essential drivers of national growth and sustainable progress.

The event, themed “From Impact to Action: Collectively Designing the Future of Youth Employment in Nigeria,” focused on strengthening collaboration among stakeholders to expand access to meaningful employment opportunities and equip young people with relevant workplace skills.

Jobberman commended Polaris Bank for its sustained efforts in supporting Nigeria’s employment ecosystem and described the institution as a purpose-driven organisation committed to advancing the future of work.
