Polaris Bank Backs NACCIMA Export Support Call Centre to Boost Non-Oil Trade
Polaris Bank has supported the launch of an export support call centre by the NACCIMA, aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s non-oil export sector and improving access to international markets.
The call centre is designed to provide Nigerian exporters with real-time information, technical support, and regulatory guidance to enhance their competitiveness in global trade.
Speaking at the launch, the Executive Director of Polaris Bank, Chris Ofikulu, said the initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to empowering local businesses and supporting export growth.
He noted that the platform would serve as a critical resource hub for exporters by offering expert advisory services and practical tools required to navigate international trade processes.
According to him, the initiative aligns with efforts to deepen trade facilitation, improve market access, and support economic development through increased participation in non-oil exports.
Polaris Bank provided operational infrastructure for the centre, including laptops, workstations, internet-enabled devices, and printing equipment to ensure efficient service delivery.
The bank also highlighted its broader support for exporters through financing solutions, working capital, and advisory services, as well as its digital platform, VULTe, which facilitates seamless cross-border transactions via the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System.
The partnership underscores ongoing efforts to enhance export readiness, strengthen small and medium-scale enterprises, and drive sustainable economic growth.
