Providus Bank Plc has expanded its operations with the commissioning of a new branch in Ado-Ekiti, as part of its ongoing growth strategy across key markets in Nigeria.
The bank, which says it met the Central Bank of Nigeria’s recapitalisation requirement in January 2025, stated that the new branch reflects its focus on deepening financial inclusion and supporting economic activities at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the commissioning, the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Deoye Ojuroye, said the expansion is part of a planned nationwide rollout aimed at strengthening the bank’s presence in strategic locations over the next year.
He added that Providus Bank remains well capitalised and continues to operate with a disciplined approach to risk and capital management, which supports its long-term growth ambitions.
The bank said it will continue to expand its footprint in key areas while strengthening its role as a financial partner to businesses and individuals across Nigeria.
