Fidelity Bank Plc has intensified its support for small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria with a structured series of masterclasses designed to improve pricing strategy, business efficiency, digital sales and global market readiness.

The programme, held throughout April 2026 at the Fidelity SME Hub in Gbagada, Lagos, kicked off with a session focused on “Pricing That Works,” where entrepreneurs were trained on cost management, value-based pricing and customer perception—key areas often linked to SME profitability challenges in Nigeria’s competitive market.

The bank followed up with a hands-on baking and food business masterclass, aimed at helping entrepreneurs improve product consistency, scale production and convert skills into sustainable income streams.

Two additional sessions are scheduled: a digital-focused training on how SMEs can grow online sales using low-cost tools and social media strategies, and a one-on-one trade advisory clinic designed to prepare businesses for export opportunities, cross-border payments and international compliance requirements.

According to Fidelity Bank, the initiative is part of its broader SME development strategy that combines financing with capacity building, market access and digital empowerment through its SME Hub and nationwide support programmes.

The bank says the goal is not just to fund businesses, but to strengthen their survival rate and long-term competitiveness, especially in a challenging economic environment where many small businesses struggle with pricing, visibility and expansion.

Fidelity Bank also highlighted its continued recognition in SME banking and digital innovation, reinforcing its position as one of the leading financial institutions supporting enterprise development in Nigeria.
